Enter the doctoral candidacy list of the TUM School of Life Sciences

The entry in the doctoral candidacy list is the official start of your doctorate. At the same time your membership at TUM GS and the GZW beginns.

The whole doctoral candidacy list of the TUM is subdivided into the doctoral candidacy lists of the schools and other degree-awarding institutions. Depending on the membership of your supervisior in a school or other degree-awarding institution of TUM your list entry is determined. For a first orientation have a look at the Chairs and Professors at TUM School of Life Sciences.

To enter the doctoral candidacy list you have to choose a graduate center of the TUM Graduate School to become a member there. Most doctoral candidates of the TUM School of Life Sciences are a member of the Graduate Center Weihenstephan.

The Graduate Center Weihenstephan is on the one hand a part of the TUM Graduate School and on the other hand a unit of the TUM School of Life Sciences. To support all doctoral candidates of the TUM School of Life Sciences in the best way, the Graduate Center Weihenstephan offers a demand-oriented qualification program, which fits the requirements of the TUM Graduate School and is adapted to local needs. As a member of Graduate Center Weihenstephan you are a member of TUM Graduate School, too.
