All GZW member are entitled to participate in the upcoming Doctoral Elections.
We would like to motivate you to offer yourself as a candidate for these elections!
In addition to give your vote, you are also entitled (and very welcome!) to actively run for the doctoral elections:
The doctoral representatives take care for the networking amongst the doctoral candidates here on campus, and represent the ideas and opinions of the GZW doctoral candidates towards the School of Life Sciences, the TUM and the TUM Graduate School. This role offers you the opportunity to actively engage in the improvement of conditions for doctoral candidates, and to co-determine the contents and activities of your GZW.
It is important to us to highlight that the available offices/posts play an important role for the doctoral candidates of TUM, and moreover can be quite fun:
The participation in committees like School Council and Graduate Council offers interesting insights in important decision-making processes at TUM, you can co-determine organizational decisions, establish a lot of contacts, and you are a main contact person for your doctoral fellows at the GZW.
The time effort stays within limits, since you can count on the GZW office team for organizational support!
There will be elected the Spokesperson of the GZW Doctoral Candidates and his*her deputy.
